Getting Started

Welcome to EZSCRIPTRx. These are the basic concepts you need to know to start using the system quickly:

1. For any patient you would like to check eligibility or coverage, you first need to select his/her health service provider. You can search for it, if you don’t find it, you can add the provider. Learn more.

2. Once the provider is selected, you can pick from the list of patients. If you don’t find the patient, you can add him/her. Learn more.

3. In order to check for covered medications (NDCs), the patient needs to have at least one insurance plan on file. You can either enter his/her BIN, PCN, Group ID and Cardholder ID manually, or have our system find it for you. If you use our eligibility service, you will use 2 credits each time you check. 4. Having added the patient’s insurance, you can check for NDC coverage, either by searching by NDC Code, by GPI (Medispan categories) or by drug name. EZSCRIPTRx also has easy to use NDC categories to find NDCs faster.

5. For each NDC you check for real time benefits verification, you will use 1 credit each time you check it.

6. Total number of credits used are visible in the top center of the page, and clicking on it allows you to see past results.
