How to Check Eligibility Only

Eligibility Only Users

This setting allows the user to check for a patient's eligibility coverage only without the ability of checking coverage for that patient. When a user with eligibility only logs in, they will see the following screen:

If you have the permission for “Pharmacy Rotation” activated and you have more than one Pharmacy, the “Pharmacy” field will be unavailable. The “Pharmacy” field will change automatically each time you check Insurance and replaced for another Pharmacy you have registered on the app.

To get started:

 

  1. Select the pharmacy that you wish to use by clicking on the dropdown menu. If you have enabled “Automatic Pharmacy Rotation” for the user, the “Pharmacy” dropdown will be unavailable and the system will automatically rotate to a different pharmacy from your account each time you check for a patient’s insurance.

  2. Fill in the required fields for the patient that you wish to search for eligibility for (indicated by * on the field).  Click on the “Next” button.

    1. IF a patient is new, you will see the message “Insurance for this patient has not been checked yet” on the Insurance Information section.   Click on the “Check if Patient has insurance” button to locate eligibility for that patient. This information will be displayed in the insurance information section.

      If insurance is not found for that patient, the following pop-up will be displayed.

       

    2. IF the patient is already entered into your account, you will see the information for that patient displayed.  You will have the ability to check for new coverage for this patient if needed by clicking on the “Check if Patient has insurance” button.

        If you have Attestation Forms included in your subscription, you will see the “Attestation Form” button available.

  3. You can edit patient information by clicking the pencil icon, this will take you back to the patient information screen.

      If you edit more than one field, the following pop-up will be displayed, and the system will create a new patient

     

  4. When you are done with the current patient, click on the “Switch Patient” to start a new patient.
