How to Check Coverage with Rx Groups

EZSCRIPTRx gives the user two options to Search and Check Coverage.

One of the options is accessible through RX GROUPS tab and the other is accessible through RX SEARCH tab.

Under the RX GROUPS tab there are EZ Groups and My Groups. The EZ Groups are lists of the highest-performing NDCs, broken out by specialty and in My Groups, the user can add and manage preferred Groups (How to Customize Groups)

Here it is the step by step:

  1. Select a Provider and click “Continue”. If the Provider was already added or add a New Provider

2. Once there is a Provider selected, continue selecting the Patient by typing at least “3 letters” in the search box, select one result from the dropdown list and then click on “Select Medications” button.

3. Select the Group to get the result from.

Also there are other options for searching:
 

a. The search box by typing any NDC, drug, name or bundle name (sub category)

b. Navigate through the categories by clicking each of them to expand it.

The NDCs are displayed sorted by sub categories.

4. Select the medications by using the checkbox on the right and click “Check Coverage” button.

When the checking coverage process ends, it will show the following color codes:

Green: Product/Service covered

Yellow: Prior Authorization Required

Red: Product/Service Not Covered
